University Council at RPTU
The University Council is a central body of the university. It advises and supports the university in all important matters and promotes its profile development, performance and competitiveness. In particular, it has the task of
- to approve the basic regulations and their amendments,
- approve the establishment, modification and dissolution of academic institutions and the establishment, modification and dissolution of the university's research college,
- to approve the general principles of the Senate regarding the distribution of posts and funds,
- to advise the university on fundamental matters, in particular by developing concepts for further development,
- to submit proposals for the establishment of degree programs,
- to approve development plans,
- to approve the quality assurance system.
