Seminar "Emotional eating - when food doesn't fill you up" - detailed summary

In our fast-paced, top-heavy world, many people lose access to their own body signals. The "Emotional Eating" workshop helps participants to recognize the close connection between the emotional world and eating behaviour. They learn why food is not only chosen when physically hungry, but often as a reaction to stress, boredom or sadness. Through targeted reflection, unconscious behavioral patterns are made visible.

The course combines short, concise keynote speeches with interactive discussions in small groups and a moderated plenary discussion. This creates a learning environment in which experiences can be shared and new perspectives can be developed together. The focus is on developing a personal "toolbox": methods suitable for everyday use to become aware of hunger and satiety signals again, to control emotional eating impulses and to find healthy alternatives to stress eating.
