First of all, the most important information for you as an event organizer:

In principle, all special events must be reported to Event Management so that compliance with the legal and safety-related framework conditions can be ensured by the operators and event organizers. For external events, room availability and contractual agreements must also be made.

At the Kaiserslautern location, event management is made up of three pillars:

Event Organization (VAO)

Event administration and room management (VARM)

Event security and technology (VAST)

These three pillars ensure the successful planning, realization and implementation of your event so that you can concentrate fully on your core tasks. They are at your side in all aspects of event management. This includes, among other things

• Selection and provision of suitable premises
• Creation of an event concept in compliance with legal requirements
• Risk assessment for guests and employees
• Marketing, participant management and online ticket sales
• Coordination of service providers (e.g. technology, furniture, special cleaning and decoration)
• Support and implementation of the special event

As an internalorganizer (departments, administration and central facilities) you have the opportunity to hold special events at RPTU in Landau. The proCampus GmbH (VAO = event organization) is at your disposal and will be happy to advise you. Use the online form for internal event organizers for your request. This way you can provide us with all relevant information about your event.

As a student association, student group, AStA and external organizers, you have the opportunity to hold special events at RPTU in Landau.
Ursula Reither (VARM-LD = Veranstaltungsadministration und -raummanagement LD) is looking forward to your request. Please use the online form for external organizers (incl. student associations, student groups and AStA) for your request. You can use this form to provide us with all relevant information about your event.

If you take a look at event management at the Kaiserlautern location, you will notice that it is more broadly based with its three pillars compared to the Landau location. We would like to see the same for Landau. For this reason, the event management team at RPTU is working hard to adapt the processes for holding a special event as part of the merger. The aim is to standardize the processes and structures as far as possible for the Kaiserlautern and Landau locations. The focus of the adjustment is on expanding event security and services at the Landau site.
