Level A2 to Level C1
In an increasingly international higher education landscape, a solid command of English is becoming more and more important – for communicating with international students, guests, research partners or in administration. To help employees acquire and improve their foreign language skills, the university offers an English language course in cooperation with the Association for the General Promotion of International Understanding, Culture and Education at RPTU e.V. (VKB).
The courses are offered as an in-house measure. The language courses conclude with a certificate based on the Common European Framework of Reference. The courses offered include training up to language level C1.
The RPTU's Human Resources Development department supports you with a wide range of English courses for different language levels. Our courses are aimed at all university employees and offer practical language training geared towards everyday working life.

Frequently asked questions
The costs for participating in the English course (course and examination fees) must be paid from the respective cost centre of the participants. Invoices will be issued after the end of the course. The costs are recalculated for each course and can be requested upon registration via inhouseseminare[at]rptu.de.
If you drop out later than 4 weeks after the start of the course, the full course fee must be paid. If you do not take the exam after registering for it, the exam fee must also be paid.
