Train the Trainer (all employees)
Employees learn how to structure presentations, lectures, workshops, seminars, etc. in a targeted manner appropriate to the audience, how to present content professionally and confidently using expressive body language, how to moderate groups, and how to address conflicts and resolve them constructively. In addition to structural planning, this also includes managing realistic time allocation, methods and materials, and the use of rhetorical tools. The qualification is an ideal addition to your skills profile and promotes your personal development.
Leadership 4.0 (managers)
Managers are required to promote excellence in others. The ‘Leadership 4.0’ certificate programme therefore focuses on the role of managers. This encourages and supports sustainable change in the workplace, so that in addition to an excellent research culture at RPTU, a culture of excellence is also developed that takes people themselves into account. The ‘Leadership 4.0’ certificate is also designed to take particular account of the digital transformation, which will lead to profound changes in business models, organisational structures and work design.
Leadership and personal skills (professors and junior professors)
The area of ‘personal skills’ is aimed at promoting individual excellence. The focus is on consciously examining one's own working style and dealing with one's own strengths and weaknesses. Participants receive concrete assistance and suggestions, e.g. in the areas of conflict management, teamwork, etc. This also includes interdisciplinary topics such as examination law, secondary employment law, and the rights and obligations of professors.
In addition, managers are required to promote excellence in others. In the area of ‘leadership skills’, the focus is therefore on the role of a manager. In seminars such as team development, team management and employee appraisals, participants learn how to challenge and promote excellence among employees. This stimulates and supports sustainable change in the workplace, so that in addition to an excellent research culture, a culture of excellence develops that takes the individual into account.
