The digital event format Insight inTU Research opens the doors of RPTU to companies and interested members of the public and provides an insight behind the scenes of our university's departments.
In the form of a digital stage visit, new technologies and trends as well as their fields of application are presented clearly and in an operational context directly from the laboratory. The content is published as a live stream and recorded on video.
As a dialog format, Insight inTU Research serves as a source of inspiration for interdisciplinary exchange and is also a networking platform for discussing potential collaborations.
You too can present your transfer-relevant research work and enter into a direct exchange with companies in the region. Your contact for this is Sabrina Weißmann.
You can find examples of previous presentations here.
Insight inTU Research is presented by the Open Digitization Alliance Palatinate. The project is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research as part of the federal-state initiative Innovative University initiative.
The face-to-face format Digital Café for Future Shapers offers a platform for researchers from the field of didactics who deal with new (digital) formats of lesson design and teaching and thus actively shape the future of education.
In small workshop groups, teachers along the education chain can exchange ideas with researchers at RPTU and learn about the latest methods, tools and teaching/learning concepts. In return, the researchers are given the opportunity to try out their projects in practice and develop them further with direct feedback from the teaching staff.
As a rule, the events can be offered in cooperation with the Pädagogosciehn Landesinstitut Rheinland-Pfalz as teacher training and further education.
Are you interested in sharing your didactic work with teachers via the Digital Café for Future Shapers? You are welcome to contact Chantal Momberwill be happy to be your contact person.

Using the North Data Power Search, we can combine various search parameters to create a list of companies that is tailored to your needs in terms of subject area, company size, region and much more, giving you an overview of potential cooperation partners.
Here is a selection of the search parameters that can be used to search the North Data company database:
North Data is an online platform that collects, processes and clearly presents information about European companies. Publicly accessible data, such as commercial register entries or entries in the federal government's funding portal, serve as a source to provide insights into company key figures and interrelationships between companies. Some basic information is free of charge, for more detailed data and research there are premium offers such as the North Data Power search.
Citizen science is a research method that describes the active participation of citizens in research.
Participation can cover all phases of research, from formulating the research question, selecting the research methods, collecting and analyzing data to publishing the results.
The aim is always to create new knowledge with relevance for science, society and politics and to enable mutual learning between scientists and volunteer participants.
The benefits that science gains from the citizen science approach are new perspectives and impulses from the population and access to data and alternative forms of knowledge. The participation of citizens also offers the opportunity to review and improve the applicability and practical relevance of research results.
The approach makes it possible to incorporate citizens' knowledge resources into the research and contribute to the gain in knowledge. At the same time, they expand their knowledge of scientific methods and processes. Citizen science therefore has the potential to bring research closer and strengthen the understanding of science .
The following publication may be helpful for getting started with this research method: Citizen Science for everyone.

In the BewegungsForscher project, RPTU and the Leibniz Institute for Composite Materials (IVW) are working with interested members of the public to develop everyday medical aids such as orthoses and care aids.
Users, relatives, people working in the medical field and interested members of the public are invited to actively participate in the development process of medical aids. The collaboration will take place at various events and workshops from June 2024. Participation is flexible and can take place throughout the entire development process or only in individual phases of the project. The ideas and experiences of the participants, who become co-researchers here, are crucial to ensure that the aids developed meet the needs of the users.
Further information and current dates can be found on the project website can be found on the project website.

The aim of Eurostars is to support European cooperation between SMEs in R&D projects. Eurostars works according to the same principle as the overarching Eureka initiative: projects are open to all technologies and serve civil purposes. They aim to develop an innovative product, process or service. According to the bottom-up principle, the project content can be freely determined by the participating partners.
Eurostars 3 is aimed in particular at innovative SMEs. These are SMEs as defined by the EU that develop a product, process or service in international project collaborations. Research institutes or large companies can also participate as partners. In Germany, however, research institutes only receive funding if a German SME is involved.

Rhineland-Palatinate Regional Innovation Strategy (RIS)
As an umbrella strategy, the Rhineland-Palatinate Regional Innovation Strategy brings together the state's innovation policy strategy approaches. At a national level, it ties in with the Federal Government's High-Tech Strategy and is embedded in the EU 2020 Strategy.
Against this backdrop, the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Ministry of Science of Rhineland-Palatinate have developed the joint RIS for the state (RIS3.RP 202). It is the prerequisite for being able to use resources from the European Funds for Innovation in the current EU funding period from 2021 to 2027. The strategy was developed in a dialog process involving representatives from science, business, administration and politics.
The RIS3.RP reflects the holistic, systemic approach of innovation and economic policy in Rhineland-Palatinate. It is the basis for strengthening the business and innovation location and helps it to survive in national and international competition.
Future Strategy forResearch and Innovation of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research
