MACH AG is planning a fundamental change to the existing roles and rights concept with version 7.0 of its software from fall 2024. These changes will become mandatory with version 8.0, which will be released in spring 2025. The complete conversion of the software is to be completed with version 9.0 by fall 2025.

For RPTU, this means that the existing roles and rights concept must be adapted to the new MACH software requirements. This adaptation is aimed at integrating future self-service functions and enabling an efficient connection to the Identity Management (IDM) at RPTU. A corresponding concept is to be developed, coordinated with the project coordination and management level and introduced by fall 2025 at the latest in order to ensure smooth operation. A project period of around 10 months is planned in order to make the necessary adjustments and successfully implement the new concept.

Once the project application has been approved by the GPK, the next step is to draw up the project agreement. At the same time, an initial workshop will be held with MACH to discuss further requirements.

The project application was submitted by Mr. Lambrecht (Dept. 2.1) and Mr. Götze (RHRZ). Mr. Götze will take over the project management.
