Production start of the pilot in e-billing

After an intensive test phase on the part of Department 2: Financial Affairs, e-invoicing went live for the first time on 01.02.2021 for a selected pilot area. The Mathematics department was selected as the pilot area.

Despite obstacles, the first paper invoices were transferred to their digital twin and from then on processed completely digitally in the MACH ERP system. In the future, invoices that are also completely electronic, so-called XRechnungen, will be processed in XML format in the same way.

Following an update of the MACH ERP software to the new build version 1.87 planned for March, e-invoicing will be rolled out successively to other university departments in April.
