Another important step in digitalization was taken at RPTU at the beginning of autumn 2025: the introduction of the STU module as part of the HISinOne campus management system. This module forms the main component of student management - from enrolment to re-registration and fee administration to de-registration - and thus creates a central platform for all relevant processes of the student secretariats.

HISinOne-STU will not only provide self-service functions for students such as master data changes, re-registration and certificates, but will also enable flexible fee management and transparent mapping of legal requirements. The implementation project will also optimize the transition from application in the HISinOne-APP application portal to enrolment in HISinOne-STU. This means that the previously heterogeneous system landscape will be gradually replaced by a modern, web-based solution that offers transparency and efficiency for students and administration alike.

The first milestone is clearly defined: By the end of 2025, the technical planning for STU and STU fees as well as the process consulting should be completed.

The HISinOne-STU module is to be introduced by the end of 2026. Subsequently, the introduction of the HISinOne-DOC (doctoral candidate management) and HISinOne-EXA (examination and course management) modules is planned.

RPTU is thus taking the next step in its digital transformation to improve the quality of service in student administration.
