Lost property on the KL campus is kept at the RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau lost property office for four weeks and, where possible, returned to the owner or rightful owner. After this period, unclaimed lost property is forwarded to the Kaiserslautern municipal lost property office. There, the lost property is auctioned off after a further storage period. The dates of the local lost property auction are announced in the local press.
