Complaint Under the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG)

Have you been a victim of sexual violence, discrimination, abuse of power, or bullying at RPTU; do you feel harassed; or have you witnessed an incident?

Under the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG), which took effect in 2006, every university is required to provide individuals affected by discrimination or sexual harassment at the university with the opportunity to file a complaint. Discrimination based on ethnic origin, gender, religion or belief, disability, age, or sexual identity must be prevented or eliminated (Section 1 AGG). In addition to filing an official complaint, the university also offers the option of seeking informal counseling if you have experienced or witnessed such incidents.

A complaint may be filed at any time. However, if you wish to sue for damages, you must meet the two-month deadline.
