On August 19-23, Spin+X will co-organize a summer school on "Frontiers in Time-Resolved Science: Spin, Charge and Lattice Dynamics" in Bad Honnef, jointly with SFB 1242 (Universität Duisburg/Essen).

The scope of this school will be a mixture of structural, electron and magnetic dynamics in condensed matter systems and time-resolved studies thereof. A number of about 100 participants are expected. A team of internationally respected reasearchers will teach the students in 90 minutes lectures in a combination with a special "poster session", in which the lecturers are going to answer any evolved and evolving question to the students in a relaxed and personal atmosphere.

The list of lecturers include:

Christian Flindt, Aalto University, Finland
Tomas Jungwirth, Czech Academy of Science, Praha, Czech Republic
Tobias Kampfrath, Fritz-Haber-Institute, Berlin, Germany
Reinhard Maurer, University of Warwick, Great Britain
Lukasz Plucinski, Forschungszentrum Jülich, Germany
Helmut Schultheiß, Dresden University of Technology, Germany
Brad Siwick, McGill University, Montreal, Canada
Sangeeta Sharma, Max-Born Institute for Nonlinear Optics and Short Pulse Spectroscopy, Berlin, Germany
