Workshops & Events
English Refresher for Researchers
What is it about?
International collaborations, colleagues, conferences – there are multiple contexts in everyday university life that require a good command of English. This practice-oriented workshop focuses on the English language skills you need to communicate in international academic settings. In addition, you will learn key repeatable communication skills which will enable you to communicate about your research more confidently and effectively.
After the workshop, we will organise regular ‘English for Researchers’ get-togethers – an opportunity to continue practising communicating in English and to network with colleagues at the university.
