Systematic personnel selection procedures
Are you about to fill an important vacancy and need help preparing for the selection procedure or would you like support in the selection process? The Center for Graduate Support and Academic Staff Development will be happy to support and advise you in your upcoming personnel selection process!
We design the selection process together with you and according to your needs. By structuring and systematically approaching the selection process, we achieve the greatest possible comparability, transparency and objectivity towards the applicants. In the end, you will have a sound basis for your selection decision. In doing so, we ensure that the organisation is clear and binding for all those involved in the process, as well as requirements-based and equal in its opportunities.
What does that mean in concrete terms?
- We develop the requirements profile with you.
- We generate individual process elements with you: design of an interview guide (structured and competency-based) and, if required, further aptitude diagnostic elements (e.g. presentation task) with associated observation sheets and a results matrix.
- We explain the procedure-specific application of the materials created to the selection committee.
- We moderate and accompany the selection process if required.
- For internal applicants, we offer subsequent feedback (voluntary).
