Concepts

for new employees of the central administration

Induction concept

The experiences and impressions that new ZV employees process in the first few days and weeks after starting work often shape their future attitude towards their new workplace and, as a result, the way they perform their tasks. With the Central Administration's induction concept, we aim to achieve a systematic induction into the new ZV employee's area of responsibility and working environment. Continuous support from a mentor is intended to contribute to professional and social integration, enabling the best possible results to be achieved in a supportive working environment.

Welcome DaY

Welcome Day is the central welcome event for all new employees at the Technical University of Rhineland-Palatinate. At information stands and in presentations, employees gain an initial insight into organisational and service units as well as advisory services such as the staff council, occupational health management and the university library. At the same time, Welcome Day is an opportunity to present RPTU as a vibrant community and to establish new contacts between old and new employees.

Digital welcome folder

The digital welcome folder offers new RPTU employees a compact, easily accessible overview of everything they need to know to get started. From important contacts and organisational information to helpful tips on work processes, IT access and services –  everything is bundled in one place. This allows new employees to quickly find their feet and feel well informed and welcome right from the start. You can find the link to the welcome folder on this page in the ‘Information about daily work’ section.
