Funding from the research fund is available for the organisation of meetings, conferences and summer schools at the RPTU in Landau.

Prerequisites for funding:

• Scientific character of the event
• The RPTU in Landau is the organiser of the event (as a rule, the funded events should be held at the university or nearby).
• Additional funding is required, i.e. the event cannot be held without a grant from the research fund.
• If possible, it is assumed that an application for funding of the event has been or will be submitted to a third-party funding body (e.g. DFG, BMBF, Thyssen Foundation or similar).

Sponsorship by regional and supra-regional sponsors does not exclude funding by the Research Fund.

Applications can be submitted at any time. Applications in this section of the Research Fund are processed in the order in which they are received (at the end of each month).
 

Documents to be submitted:

• brief description of the project and preliminary list of presenters
• Preliminary financing plan
• Poster or flyer of the conference announcement / call for papers
• Indication of a Kostenstelle (TG 71) to which the funds are to be allocated (i.e. no third-party funding account)
   

Amount of funding:

Conference, workshop: up to 1.000€

National conference: up to 2.000€

International conference (at least 10 speakers): up to 3.000€
 

Summer schools can be funded in the same way as conferences.
