Funding for the organisation of meetings, conferences and summer schools
The ZGaPL provides financial support for the organisation of meetings, conferences and summer schools at RPTU.
Prerequisites for funding:
- Scientific nature of the event
- RPTU is the organiser of the event (the funded events should be held at the university or in the immediate vicinity)
- Additional funding is required, i.e. the event cannot be organised without a grant from this funding line
- If possible, it is assumed that an application for funding for the event has been or will be submitted to a third-party funding organisation (e.g. DFG, BMBF, Thyssen Foundation or similar).
Sponsorship by regional and national funding organisations does not exclude funding through this funding line.
Applications can be submitted at any time. Applications will be processed in the order in which they are received (at the end of each month).
Documents to be submitted:
- Brief description of the project and provisional list of speakers
- Preliminary financing plan
- Poster or flyer of the conference announcement / Call for Papers
- Indication of a cost centre of the institute from TG 71
Amount of funding:
Conference, workshop: up to € 1,000
National conference: up to € 2,000
International conference (at least 10 external speakers): up to € 3,000
Important: Costs for catering and representation costs cannot be funded. In the case of approved applications, costs will be reimbursed after submission of invoices for the actual expenses up to the maximum funding lump sums.
Summer schools can be funded in the same way as conferences.
