Do you speak body language? Non-verbal communication for successful cooperation
What is it about?
This workshop explores how non-verbal communication shapes trust, presence, and collaboration in academic and professional contexts. Participants learn to read and consciously use body language to strengthen clarity, credibility, and connection in everyday interactions.
The training combines short inputs from communication science with practical exercises, observation tasks, and peer feedback. Topics include kinesics, gestures of power, haptics, proxemics, and the chameleon effect as a tool for rapport building.
Learning outcomes:
- Understand and interpret non-verbal cues accurately
- Strengthen authentic and confident presence
- Recognize congruence between verbal and non-verbal messages
- Use body language strategically to improve cooperation and leadership communication
