Funding for Open-Access-publications
Through the central publication fund, junior researchers (as defined by the network for young scientists' support) can apply for financial support for their open access publication fees (APC - Article Processing Charge). In contrast to the previous program, the following changes have been made:
- The University Library will reimburse early junior researchers a basic grant of up to 1.000€ per publication.
- A one-off grant of up to 3.000€ per calendar year can be awarded to each junior researcher.
If the APC is less than the basic subsidy and the additional criteria, you will only be reimbursed the invoice amount shown.
The following Open Access publication types published in the current calendar year are eligible for funding:
- Articles in scientific journals and conference proceedings, regardless of whether the publication is in a pure Open Access journal (i.e. Gold and Hybrid)
- Contributions in volumes (Gold))
- Collected volume (Gold)
- Monographs(Gold)
Dissertations are not eligible for funding. These can be published free of charge via KLUEDO.
All information can be found on the following homepage, including the application form in German and English.
Applications will be processed as before. The following documents are required by e-mail:
The funding amount will be transferred to your cost centre as usual.
