Points of Contact and Complaints Office

Complaints under Section 13 of the AGG may only be filed with the complaints office . However, affected individuals may also contact the help desks on an informal basis.

When a complaint is filed, a core team is formed . This team includes representatives from the support centers, ensuring that allegations are evaluated from various perspectives: If staff members are involved, the Human Resources Department and the Staff Council are typically included. If students are affected, the AStA and/or student councils, as well as Department 4 / Student Affairs, are involved. The core team also includes individuals from the relevant academic or administrative units—such as the department or the division—who are not explicitly affiliated with a contact point.

Those affected decide who is included.

Points of Contact

The Anti-Discrimination Office is the first point of contact for complaints under Section 13 of the AGG. Those affected may also contact the agencies listed below if they wish to seek informal counseling. Those affected also have the option of contacting an external agency, such as the Student Services psychological counseling center, the police, Weißer Ring, doctors, city and county equal opportunity officers, therapists, and others.
