The Steering Committee is responsible for the strategic promotion and development of study programmes and teaching. It decides on the allocation of non-university funds (prize money, etc.) and consists of three departmental representatives appointed by the university management. Each department appoints one student representative, one professorial representative and one representative from the mid-level department. One of these is the main contact person, who also attends the Steering Committee meeting. The Center for Teacher Education, the Distance and Independent Studies Center, the Department of International Affairs and the Office 4 for Quality in Studies and Teaching also each send one member.
