Tenure-Track

With the tenure-track (junior) professorship, RPTU enables early planning of the scientific career. Upon appointment to such a professorship, transparent qualification goals are agreed upon and documented. If these are achieved during the tenure phase, which usually lasts six years, the professor is appointed to a lifetime professorship.
