Online seminar "Slidewriting - Create Outstanding Slides Quickly"

One-to-one coaching sessions: Approx. 30 minutes per person (individual coordination)

The online seminar takes place via Zoom.
The break arrangements will be agreed with the participants during the course.

 

Target group

The seminar is suitable for young scientists who regularly create presentation slides.

 

What´s the point?

You will benefit from the training methodically, practically and technically - immediately. Firstly, you will learn »slidewriting«, a new method of how management consultants create presentation slides effectively and efficiently and convince the audience. Secondly, you will immediately put this methodology into practice and create a slide set on a topic of your choice at the highest level. Thirdly, you will receive technical tools to create high-quality slides in just ten minutes.

 

And what´s it about?

screen space for your ideas. Moreover, you get the feeling that your slides do not always excite your audience. By the end of this training, you can create slides in less than ten minutes that make you stand out, e.g. for a conference, an internal meeting, your thesis defense etc.

 

Content

  • Cognitive basics for good slides and storylines
  • Step-by-step instructions for creating good slides and storylines
  • Practical application of what you have learned on slides you have brought with you (e.g. presentation for the next conference, for an internal meeting or for a presentation to clients)
  • Toolbox for the quick creation of presentation slides

 

Methods

Practical exercises with your own slides and stories make up more than 60% of this training. There will be a 1:1 coaching session with the trainer after the training.

Dr. Markus Burger

Dr. Markus Burger has been working on the logic of convincing slides for more than 15 years. With a doctorate in economics (Berlin, Oxford) and many years as a consultant at BCG, he is an experienced industry insider.

Participation is limited. Please register by September 18, 2025, using the online registration form of High Performace Center. You will only be informed about your admission to the course after the registration deadline. The advanced training and continuing education program is open to employees and doctoral candidates of the Fraunhofer Institutes IESE and ITWM as well as all young scientists at RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau.
