We are a member of uni-assist. Applicants who wish to apply for a master's program on Landau campus apply through uni-assist. uni-assist charges a handling fee of 75 euro for processing your application. Every further study wish is charged with 30 euro.
The main task of uni-assist is the evaluation of international school/university certificates in regard to their equivalence to German school/university degrees. uni-assist needs about four to six weeks to check your application documents formally. When checked successfully, they forward your application to us where it will be assessed academically in the respective department. Our Registration Office will notify you about the outcome of the assessment by e-mail.
Whether you have to apply with uni-assist or directly with the university depends on which group of applicants you belong to:
University applicants for a master's program who have obtained their first degree outside of Germany apply directly via the uni-assist portal "My assist". Please note that you need to pay a handling fee for the online application. Information on payment and bank account details can be found here.
Steps to take
1 - Verify that you meet the admission requirements for the desired program.
2 - Register with uni-assist and pay the handling fee.
3 - Fill in the application form in uni-assist online and submit it.
4 - Upload all required documents in your uni-assist account.
5 - uni-assist verifies your application documents and forwards them to RPTU within four to six weeks.
All documents need to be uploaded and the handling fee needs to be transferred before the deadline. Your application can otherwise not be considered.

The following documents have to be attached to your application
- The uni-assist evaluation report,
- In case you are already studying at a German university, an "Unbedenklichkeitsbescheinigung" from the university where you are currently enrolled,
- A current transcript of records and
- The bachelor's degree certificate if you have already finished your bachelor's studies.
Please note that only certified copies of your official documents can be accepted.
