The Master program Environmental Challenges and Human Responses ENCHURE conveys skills that will enable you to examine and evaluate environmental challenges on an interdisciplinary and global scale.
These skills allow graduates to not only understand global challenges from a wide range of perspectives, but above all to develop suitable options for action in order to (co-)shape social change.

This cross-locational, research-based Master's degree program combines findings from basic environmental science research on complex environmental systems with basic research on the interaction of environmental systems with society and individuals (human-environment interactions). The methods course provides you with the tools to model such complex systems between humans and the environment and relate them to various fields of application (psychology, communication, economics, spatial planning, civil engineering). This will enable you to work out scientifically sound options for action and develop solutions based on interdisciplinary analyses that are both technically possible and socially acceptable and practicable.
