✅ Every year in August RPTU invites talented international applicants who are still in school or just graduated from high school to take part in one-week STEM orientation program in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The aim is to give you a hands-on and inspiring insight into what studying at RPTU - a German technical university - will look like, through workshops, lab visits, campus life, application training and much more! 🤩
 

🎯 Who can apply?

The program is open to international students aged 17 to 19 who are in their final year of high school or just graduated from high school and who show strong academic performance in STEM subjects, and are highly motivated to study in Germany. An interest in one of the bachelor's degree programs of RPTU is ideal. Even if you don’t yet have a formal German university entrance qualification, you can apply – special admission may be granted in exceptional cases, based on individual assessment. Conversational English skills needed (B2 – CEFR).
 

📆 When does the program start?

The first edition of the program took place from December 08-12, 2025.
The second edition will take place from August 10-13, 2026 (Day of arrival: Aug. 09 , Day of departure: Aug. 14)

Please note: Applicants can expect to receive feedback on their application approximately 2-3 weeks after the application deadline (early June 2026).

💶 Scholarship:

The scholarship covers hotel costs (including breakfast) and partial – or in some cases full – reimbursement of travel costs. In all cases, travel costs will be reimbursed after the event and upon receipt of the travel costs receipts. The program itself is free of charge. Exact details will be communicated individually to the admitted participants.
