RPTU strengthens internationalization through partnership with DWIH Tokyo
As part of its internationalization strategy, RPTU maintains a long-standing partnership with Japanese universities, research institutions and companies that specialize in sustainable technologies and STEM subjects. In addition to regular participation in higher education fairs, the deepening of bilateral cooperation is now also being driven forward at the institutional level: RPTU is the first university in Rhineland-Palatinate to be accepted as an associate supporter of the DWIH Tokyo - Japan (Centre for Research and Innovation Tokyo | Deutsches Wissenschafts- und Innovationshaus Tokyo).
Thanks to the intensified cooperation with the DWIH Tokyo, RPTU aims to further deepen its bilateral relations with Japan and to ensure sustainable transfer of knowledge.
At DWIH Tokyo, RPTU is represented by Vice President Dr. Stefan Löhrke, with Dr. Parya Memar, Head of International Affairs RPTU as his deputy. The DWIH network includes other renowned institutions and universities, including the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI), RWTH Aachen University and Heidelberg University.
