Consecutively Building on a relevant bachelor's degree, our master's program in urban planning at RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau at the Kaiserslautern campus deepens specific competencies to independently analyze and evaluate urban planning problem areas using scientific methods and to generate new, creative approaches to solving them. Project-oriented learning arrangements strengthen the ability to shape urban planning processes and to develop creative solutions for multi-layered tasks.
Der Masterstudiengang Stadtplanung ist modular aufgebaut und kann in vier Semestern abgeschlossen werden. Er ist so konzipiert, dass jedes Modul in einem Semester studierbar ist.

The M.Sc. degree in Urban Planning qualifies students for independent and leading professional or scientific work as an urban planner as defined by the architectural laws of the federal states and comparable activities with public and private employers as well as for freelance self-employment.
