Commission on the Ethics of Security-Relevant Research

The Commission for Ethics in Security-Relevant Research (KEF) is established by the RPTU Senate as an independent body. It is directly available to all scientists at RPTU for advice and support.

In the area of conflict between academic freedom and the responsibility of research, the KEF provides assistance by advising and assessing ethical and legal aspects in the safety-relevant cases mentioned in the statutes. In addition, it promotes awareness of security-relevant aspects of research within the university.
