Turning data into insights that can improve your decision making is a key challenge for organisations of all sizes and in all industries. Whether you find yourself in logistics, technology, retail, healthcare, manufacturing, consulting, banking and finance or insurance, the data gleaned from the economic interaction of market participants helps to identify and influence trends to give you a competitive advantage over other players in your field. Companies are therefore looking for experts like you who are able to use data to make informed strategic decisions. The same applies to public administration. The aim here is to minimise costs while providing better services to citizens by making the best use of available information.

As a graduate of the B.Sc. in Data Analytics in Economics and Business, you will have a clear competitive advantage. Your multi-faceted skills will enable you to communicate effectively with clients, programmers, managers, data scientists and policy makers to make strategic decisions.

The programme offers a multidisciplinary curriculum that prepares you to work in all data-intensive professional fields in business and finance. Companies, the public sector and associations are looking for analytically gifted individuals like you who not only have statistical and programming skills, but also understand the business and economic context in which they will be working, as well as the relevant legal and ethical boundaries of this work.
