RefIntA's activities for international (post)graduates comprise a broad range of highly professionalized services for incoming Master & PhD students and scholars. One major task of the RefIntA Team is to help the students settle in to and become part of the university´s vibrant community. To that end we offer our Welcome Days on Landau campus at the beginning of each semester plus a student mentor who will support you through all organisational steps.
RefIntA offers highly individualized support in the following administrative & organizational issues:
Finally no matter if you live in a private apartment or in a student residence, you need to pay a monthly licence fee for public broadcasting (Rundfunkbeitrag) covering TV, radio & online media. This fee amounts to currently 18.36 euro per month.

The International Office and Welcome Center on the Landau campus offer Welcome Days during which all new international master students in the international master programs on the Landau campus are guided through the organisational and administrative steps to ensure a smooth start of your studies in Landau.

Welcome Days
During our Welcome Days on the Landau campus, we offer a portfolio of workshops and info sessions to help new international master students with an easy start of their studies in Landau.
Our tailor-made Welcome Days program guides you through all administrative and organisational steps after your arrival in Landau:
- Register at the foreigners' office or town hall
- Rental contract
- Get enrolled, receive a uni-account and register for your courses
- Receive your UniCard, your student ID card
- Be prepared for campus life and life in Germany in general
- Get to know your co-students, program advisors and the RefIntA-staff
During a guided tour of the campus and the city, you will find that Landau campus is comfortably sized to find your way round easily. Plus everything in Landau can be reached by foot or even more conveniently by bike.
On hiking and city tours you will get to know Landau and its surroundings, interesting historic sights and beautiful landscapes, and other cities nearby like Karlsruhe, Heidelberg or even Strasbourg in France.

Administrative Steps
During our Welcome Days program, we guide you through registration at the foreigners' office/town hall, health insurance, enrollment, university ID and computer/wifi access, registration for courses, library, rental contracts, and your specific & individual needs.
