Digitalization
Technical infrastructure, hardware, software and intelligent digital processes determine our everyday work and the entire development of society. At RPTU, there are several central institutions that support and shape the digitalization of the university from different perspectives.
The Regional University Computer Center Kaiserslautern-Landau (RHRZ) offers services for all members of the RPTU and supports students, employees and researchers with software solutions, answers to technical questions or on aspects of digital working.
The Center for Innovation and Digitalization in Study and Teaching (ZIDiS) bundles the activities of the Kaiserslautern site of the RPTU in the areas of study support, e-teaching and university teaching.
The Center for University Teaching and Didactics Landau (ZHDL) is the central institution of the RPTU in Landau for the support of media technology infrastructure in university teaching and e-teaching.
The overall "E-Services" project has the strategic goal of further advancing the digitalization of the RPTU. It bundles a large number of IT-related individual projects at the RPTU within an overall conceptual and organizational framework.
