Deutschland-Semesterticket

# Kaiserslautern:
The RPTU D-semester ticket will not be affected by the price increase until the end of the 2026 summer semester.

The D-ticket is included in the semester fee.
It will be possible to purchase and renew it in the MyVRN app from around mid-March 2026.

Students who use the ticket without the app can have a purchase authorization issued at the SSC and then present it at the VRN Mobility Center from mid-March.

# Landau: Students in Landau will no longer have a Deutschland-Semesterticket from winter semester 2025/26. It is not included in the semester fee.

# Distance learning students are not eligible.

 

Refund of Deutschland-Semesterticket

# Kaiserslautern

The ticket is included in the semester fee. A refund of the ticket costs can only be applied for if there is a reason for exemption from the obligation to purchase the ticket and the application has been received by RPTU by 30.04. or 31.10. at the latest.

Reasons for reimbursement are

  • leave of absence
  • Severe disability
  • Semester abroad / 3 months absence
  • Ticket purchase at another university (enrollment in a network)
