Information about the Deutschland-Semesterticket

From the winter semester 2024/25, the Deutschland-Semesterticket (D-Semesterticket) will be available for RPTU students.

The D-Semesterticket will be available from September 11. It will be issued as a personalized digital app-bound ticket.
Students in Kaiserslautern who validate their student ID cards now for the winter semester will continue to receive the VRN ticket imprint. This is valid for the summer semester and until the end of September. From October 1st, only the app-bound D-Semesterticket can be used. 

*** 15.08.2024 ***

Please validate your student ID for the winter semester. This is the only way you can use it to pay in the canteen.

*** 02.09.2024 ***

If you can provide proof of a stay abroad of at least 3 months during the semester or a leave of absence, the amount for the D-Semesterticket can be refunded.

*** 11.09.2024 ***

From today, 11.09.2024, it is possible to activate the Deutschland-Semesterticket, which will come into force on 01.10.2024. Your student ID card will no longer be valid as a ticket from 1 October 2024.
