Checklist for enrollment

If you have applied and received admission, you still have a few things to do for enrollment (matriculation). This checklist can help you as an overview.
You will only be enrolled once you have completed all the points that apply to you. You can and must apply for enrollment in the portal by the deadline, even if you still need to submit documents, for example.
As soon as you have been enrolled, you will be notified and will receive your student ID and information about the start of your studies.
Checklist for international applicants
- Read the letter of admission / read information on admission in the application portal
- Apply for enrollment online in the application portal (note the deadline!)
- Transfer the semester fee (payment details according to admission letter)
- Arrange for proof of health insurance M10 to be sent to the RPTU sender number H0000543 (not for DSH course participants)
- Submit missing documents (upload in the portal, alternatively by email)
- Find out about preliminary courses/introductory events and register
Read the examination regulations (PO) and module handbook (seek advice)
Kaiserslautern location:
- Submit proof of entry
- Register for the German course at RPTU (DSH) Submit the form your received by email on the day of admission
- Transfer DSH fees
Proof of health insurance only if you are starting your degree course directly.
If you are still attending the German course at RPTU, you are not subject to compulsory health insurance and must therefore insure yourself (e.g. via private health insurance).
Applicants with German university entrance qualification (HZB)
