Foreign students who have obtained their certificates and/or graduation certificates at the Rheinland-Pfälzische Technische Universität Kaiserslautern-Landau, as well as the former Technische Universität Kaiserslautern and Campus Landau of Universität Koblenz-Landau, can have them legalised in their home country for the purpose of recognition, i.e. have their authenticity confirmed by a foreign diplomatic or consular representation in Germany (=legalisation). The same applies to german students who whish to present their certificates abroad.
