Diploma
Before the introduction of the Bachelor-Master system, the Diplom degree programme was the most frequently offered type of degree programme in Germany and has retained its good reputation to this day, especially in the natural sciences and engineering. The RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau currently still offers two diploma degree programmes in the fields of architecture and physics. With a standard period of study of 10 semesters, the duration of study corresponds to the Bachelor's and Master's programmes in these fields.
