Vocational training

IT specialists specializing in application development learn methods for planning, implementing and monitoring projects during their vocational training. Their main task is to develop user-friendly software, document it and train and advise its users. The support, maintenance, revision and renewal of existing software are also part of the tasks that application developers have to master. The numerous trainee projects, individual and group projects at the RHRZ follow the motto "learning by doing". Because the created software is used directly at RPTU, application developers have the opportunity to develop application systems in a practical and customer-oriented manner. The RHRZ offers its own training courses on topics such as programming and Office applications, as well as the opportunity to attend subject-specific lectures under special conditions.

The intensive supervision of trainees at the highly regarded RPTU training location and the numerous further training opportunities associated with this are therefore regarded as special training features of the RHRZ.

Requirements

  • Basic PC skills 
  • Good knowledge of English and German
  • Logical and technical understanding
  • Interest in programming languages
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Ability to work independently with a PC
  • Secondary school leaving certificate level 1 (Sekundarabschluss I)
  • Good grades in math, computer science and English
