The internal student accreditation commission pool at RPTU in Landau consists of at least four active students with equal representation.
In each accreditation procedure, a student representative is appointed to the relevant internal accreditation commission (AKO I or AKO II). The AKOs are committees authorised to make decisions in accordance with § 6 of the statutes for quality assurance and development in studies and teaching at RPTU in Landau.
What are the requirements?
The prerequisite for participation is valid enrolment at RPTU. The selection of which student is assigned to which commission and which study programme to be accredited is made by Office 4 QSL in Landau. Students may not be members of an accreditation commission if, for example, they are in an employment relationship or in an acute examination situation for the degree programme to be accredited (bias). New members can be registered in writing at any time.
What are the tasks and benefits?
You get to see more behind the scenes, gain insights into the examination regulations, module handbooks and study plans, can actively participate in the development, establishment, modification and cancellation of study programmes and understand the interrelationships etc. much better and can of course make lots of great contacts with students, a number of lecturers and other members of the university. At the same time, you ensure that the student perspective is included in committee decisions. Student members of the AKOs also receive an expense allowance for each study programme to be accredited, in accordance with Annex 1 of the statutes (ger.) for quality assurance and development in studies and teaching at RPTU in Landau.
How do I join the pool?
If you are interested in joining the student accreditation commission pool, simply send an informal e-mail or our admission form to the contact person for students from Office 4 QSL in Landau. You can also contact the representatives of the AStA Landau and they will forward your contact details to us. The official nomination will then be made by the student campus senators. We take care of that.
When and how does membership end?
Membership in the student accreditation pool ends at any time upon request after written notification to the Office 4 QSL in Landau or after exmatriculation.
