The External Advisory Board for Studies and Teaching is made up of academic representatives from other universities, representatives of professional practice and students. Its establishment was part of the "Exzellenz in der Lehre" award received in 2009. It advises RPTU on all matters relating to studying and teaching and makes suggestions for quality development. The RPTU Senate in Kaiserslautern decides on the appointment of the External Advisory Board for Teaching and Learning.
