RPTU has an evaluation system in the area of study and teaching that maps the student study cycle and is equipped with feedback measures. The instruments of quality assurance are based on the student life cycle: in all relevant phases of the study programme, RPTU carries out evaluations/surveys and also collects corresponding key figures for monitoring.
The aim of the various quality assurance instruments is to work together to determine an overarching picture of the quality of study and teaching at RPTU and, on this basis, to facilitate a continuous learning and further development process at the university.
The evaluation system is also guided by a clear focus on purpose and results: the collection and assessment of information, e.g. on student satisfaction or the structure of performance and examination requirements, is therefore not an end in itself, but serve to analyse the strengths and weaknesses of RPTU's study programmes and provide a basis for the decision-making process.
The surveys carried out as part of quality assurance are intended to identify potential for improvement and contribute to the development of appropriate solutions and measures, ultimately opening up potential for innovation in teaching and learning.
