Lecture series Making of Pfalz; lecture by Karsten Ruppert: Early Palatinate Liberalism from the Hambach Festival to the Palatinate Uprising (1832-1849)
In the German Confederation, the Palatinate was one of the regions where the earliest liberal currents were recognizable, and the lecture will reveal the intellectual and political reasons for this. In addition, a social profile of the supporters of the movement will be developed and their organizational structure will be examined.
[Admission €5 for non-members of the Historischer Verein der Pfalz e.V. Students registered for the lecture are admitted free of charge].
