Once again this year, Familienservice Landau is offering the "Land(L)aus Kinder" summer holiday childcare program for children of employees and students at RPTU in Landau. The offer has been jointly organized by various employers from Landau and the surrounding area for many years in order to relieve families during the vacations. School-age children between the ages of 6 and 12 can take part. The care takes place in the first two weeks of the summer vacation from 29.06. to 10.07.2026 (8:30-16:00; drop-off time from 7:30, pick-up time until 17:00). Registration is possible for one or both weeks. The total cost is 155 euros per week. The families' own contribution is 105 euros, for siblings 85 euros per week. The rest is covered by the university. For children of students, the university covers the costs in full. In special circumstances, financial support is possible by arrangement. Childcare is limited to a maximum of 60 children. Places are allocated according to the number of registrations received. The closing date for applications is 28.02.2026.
