We are kicking off the summer with a special event! At the Unisport SUMMER OPENING on 30.04.2026 from 3 pm, all those interested, young and old, can expect a semester start full of movement and a good atmosphere on the grounds of Unisport Kaiserslautern. The Uniliga will kick off a season full of exciting games, while the start of the Summer Soul event series will provide a relaxed picnic atmosphere, music, cool drinks and food for a real summer feeling. You can also get to know Unisport, Unifit and CampusPlus, take part in many hands-on and information offers and view and test many of our sports facilities directly on site: climbing tower, pump track, fitness tower, adventure playground and much more is open to the public! Admission is free.

Kaiserslautern is celebrating "750 years of city rights" this year. The RPTU, the only technical university in Rhineland-Palatinate, has helped write over 50 years of city history since it was founded in 1970. The university is one of the largest employers in the region, a driving force in science and a vibrant part of the city community. In its anniversary year, this shared history will find special expression in the "City meets Campus" day of action, with RPTU contributing to the marathon celebrations. The Unisport Summer Opening is part of this.
