Fees
Payment of the social contribution/semester fee is a prerequisite for enrollment and re-registration.
Students older than 60 years of age have to pay a fee in the amount of 700,- €.
For a second course of study, which is completed after the acquisition of a first university degree, a second study fee of 700,- € is due per semester (in addition to the semester contribution/social contribution). In the case of foreign students, the second study fee is generally only due in cases where the foreign degree type/degree is formally equivalent to the German degree type.
Other fees:
Students who are on leave of absence, doctoral students (for the doctoral studies) and distance learning students are exempt from the fees (not the semester contribution/social contribution!).
Re-registration
Kaiserslautern: Check your open enrollments in the QIS self-service function (under "Studiumsverwaltung").
Landau: You will receive the re-registration request before each re-registration period via circular email to your Unimail address.

You will find information on this in your admission letter.
If enrollment is waived (place returned), fees will be charged:
- degree programs with open admission: 25,00 €
- degree programs with restricted admission: 45,00 €
