Research
My research interest is in the spectroscopy of complex systems and bridging the gap between method development and application orientation, especially in the field of electron spin resonance (ESR) spectroscopy. With the help of site-specific spin labeling, we are able to obtain information about the structure and dynamics of (bio)macromolecules that is not accessible with other methods. Experiments in complex environments, for example directly in the cell, are particularly interesting
